5/26) Has twice recorded with British band 'Oasis'. Most notably, he plays lead slide guitar on the track "Fade In-Out", from the 1997 album Be Here Now.
Noel Gallagher, Oasis's lead guitarist, was allegedly too drunk to perform it himself, so celebrity pal Depp stepped in and nailed the lead on one take.
6/26) In an interview, Johnny Depp thanked his stunt horse, Scout, for saving his life after a violent fall during filming of The Lone Ranger: After Scout dragged Depp 25 feet, Scout jumped over him to avoid stepping on him. A clip of the fall shows the horse clearly jumping over Depp, and detaching him from the saddle.
Depp suffered only minor bruises and scrapes, but says it could have been a lot worse if the horse had stepped on him.
7/26) Johnny Depp admitted that he broke his rule of not watching his own movies with Black Mass. He was at the film's debut in Venice. He was about to skip out of watching the film, but the director Scott Cooper asked him to stay, so he did.
He's since said its one of his favourite performances he's ever done.
8/26) During the TV series 21 Jump Street, Johnny Depp became increasingly frustrated with the series, so he began to put forth ridiculous suggestions for his character to the producers.
One such a suggestion included the discovery by the other characters that Tom Hanson was obsessed with peanut butter, and would be discovered by the other characters smearing it all over his naked body.
